Every Autumn we usually invite parents into school to share with you learning strategies and expectations to support your child with learning in Year 1. Welcome back Otters!

Welcome back to school after a restful half term break Otters!

It’s great to have you back and we hope you all had an enjoyable half term break. We are so proud of how you have settled back into school and can definitely see that you are all Stronger, Smarter and More Powerful than ever after our Phoenix Curriculum. Now we are ready for our next challenge, and we are starting to develop our Year 1 expectations and learning, so keep up the great work Otters!

We have already achieved great things in Otters class and are really pleased with your engagement in our 'Go Wild' topic.  This half term, we have got even more exciting plans ahead as we move onto a new topic 'Stargazing'!

Important Information:

  • P.E. days are Thursday and Friday. Please come to school in your P.E. kit, you will wear this all day.
  • We are limiting the amount of items that the children are bringing into school, so please do not bring rucksacks or bags. Children should only be bringing a water bottle, their lunchbox (if they are not having a school lunch) and book folders as provided by us.
  • If someone else is collecting your child at the end of the day, we kindly ask you to let us know in the morning when dropping your child off or by email to the school office.
  • Home Learning can be uploaded to Seesaw if you wish to share this with your teacher and class.
