Seahorses (Year 3 W)

March 2021

Hello Seahorses and families

We are so excited to be welcoming you all back into school. We've missed you!

This term we are going to continue our 'Flash! Bang! Boom!' topic focussing on our science learning about light and forces. We've also got lots of exciting English learning linked to our previous volcano learning and fun new maths learning.

Important days:

- Every day: Make sure your reading book and reading record come into school.

- Monday and Tuesday: PE days. Children should come into school in their school P.E. kit on these days.

- Friday: Spellings and times tables assessments

Linked Websites:

Below we have included a wide range of links to websites you may find useful in extending your child's learning.

We have linked Spelling Shed and Doodle Maths which we are using to especially support children with their spellings and maths knowledge.

Documents included below:

- Flash! Bang! Boom! Topic map

- Spring 2 Spellings

- Allergy information

- Reading VIPERS

- Previous Spelling lists

Many thanks for your continuing support,

Miss Mitchell and Mrs Miller

Every Autumn we usually invite parents into school to share with you learning strategies and expectations to support your child with learning in LKS2. This year we have had to record these presentations for you to view at your leisure in the comfort of your own home. Please click on the link below to view the presentations.
